With the weather turning nippy, it might be time to bust out the board games.
Fortunately,
lots of new games debuted this year to add to the mix. As a board game
geek, I test drove the most interesting ones. Here’s how they played
out.
Don't let the name Pax Romana fool you, this is not a game that covers
that actual Pax Romana, but actually models the Mediteranean Basin
during the rise of the Roman Republic.
This weekend we played Ruse
and Bruise by Lutz Stepponate.I had
played this game once before the Midsouth Con 25 but did not pay real attention
to the game nor the rules.I just played
to play.
I have to say I enjoyed this quick, beautifully illustrated,
fun packed card game.
